Connor Tobin joined the club when it was known as NSC Minnesota Stars FC in April 2012. The Fort Collins, Colorado native was a veteran defender with experience in Norway and the USL. Known for his reliable play, strong leadership, and aerial ability, Tobin was a foundational player for the club during its final year as the Stars and its transition into the newly re-branded Minnesota United FC in the NASL. He was a key part of the defense that reached the 2012 NASL Soccer Bowl Final. He moved on from the club after the 2013 season.
