Collin Martin
- Years with club: 2017–2019
- Position: Midfielder
Collin Martin joined Minnesota United ahead of their inaugural 2017 MLS season, acquired via a trade with D.C. United. A young, technically proficient central midfielder, Martin was brought in to provide depth and potential in the Loons’ midfield rotation. He made limited appearances over his three seasons in Minnesota, largely serving as a backup option or rotating into the starting lineup. His time with the club is most significantly remembered off the pitch for a landmark personal announcement he made while under contract with MNUFC. His contract option was declined following the 2019 season.

The club and the MLS community offered overwhelming support.
- MLS debut for MNUFC: He made his Loons debut on March 25, 2017, against the New England Revolution.
- Support for diversity: The club’s handling of his announcement, particularly dedicating a Pride Night match to his announcement, became a significant, positive moment for inclusivity in Major League Soccer.
