Brian Kallman is a true local legend, having played for Minnesota’s professional soccer franchise through its various iterations. The older brother of Brent Kallman, Brian was a Woodbury, Minnesota native who played for the Minnesota Thunder (2006–2009) before joining the successor team, NSC Minnesota Stars, in 2010. He was a foundational player for the club throughout the NASL era, known for his defensive versatility, strong work ethic, and leadership. Kallman captained the team and was a key member of the 2011 squad that won the NASL Soccer Bowl Championship. He played for the re-branded Minnesota United until his retirement in early 2016.
